Kodiak Christian School

Technology

Kodiak Christian School is dedicated to providing quality technological instruction in the realm of computer science, multimedia training, and Internet research. With state of the art systems in each class room, students have the opportunity to expand their imaginations while keeping up with the advances of technology in today's world. All KCS teachers have received formal computer training in order to equip students with the necessary skills for success once they leave 8th grade for high school. KCS is also in the process of hosting a program where students can proudly produce their own web pages and projects on the world wide web.

Our goal is to provide computer and Internet access to all Kodiak Christian students. There are now Internet ready computers for the students to use. BUT FIRST, each student must obtain a KCS Student Use Contract and the necessary training.

Students in the sixth, seventh and eight grade are enrolled in the Delta Junction Cyberschool and are learning keyboarding, spreadsheet operation, selected NASA science courses and even Spainsh! We owe a special Gracias to former board member Dean Willis and other Coast Guard men as well as GCI for wiring our school for the information highway.
